Product Overview
This TSA Contact Plate is a ready-to-use environmental monitoring tool designed for the enumeration of viable microorganisms on surfaces, equipment, personnel, and packaging materials. The medium is Soybean-Casein Digest Agar (also known as Tryptic Soy Agar, TSA), a non-selective, general-purpose medium that supports the growth of a broad range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds.
Each plate is manufactured in accordance with United States Pharmacopeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (EP), Chinese Pharmacopoeia (CP), and GB16294 standards, ensuring consistent performance and regulatory compliance for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare applications.
The 55mm format is optimized for direct surface contact sampling, and the triple vacuum packaging allows safe transfer into cleanrooms and isolators without introducing contamination.
Intended Use
- Surface microbial monitoring in cleanrooms (ISO Class 5–8 / Grade A–D).
- Environmental monitoring of equipment, walls, floors, and personnel.
