Formula (per liter):

• Peptone – 10.0 g

• Dextrose – 40.0 g

• Chloramphenicol – 0.1 g

• Final pH: 5.6 ± 0.2 (at 25°C)

Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve 50.1 g of the powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until fully dissolved, dispense, and sterilize by autoclaving at 115°C for 15 minutes. Cool and medium is ready for use.
