Product Overview:
Nutrient Agar Medium is a general-purpose solid culture medium used for the purification and cultivation of bacteria. It is suitable for routine microbiological testing, laboratory research, and quality control applications. This medium supports the growth of a wide range of non-fastidious microorganisms and is commonly used for bacterial isolation and maintenance.

Composition (per liter):

• Peptone – 10.0 g

• Beef Extract – 3.0 g

• Sodium Chloride – 5.0 g

• Agar – 15.0 g

• pH 7.1 ± 0.1 (at 25℃)

Preparation Instructions:

1. Weigh 33.0 g of the medium and suspend in 1 L of distilled or deionized water.

2. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved.

3. Dispense into suitable containers.

4. Sterilize at 121℃ for 15 minutes or at 115℃ for 30 minutes.

5. Shake well after sterilization to prevent agar from settling at the bottom.

6. Allow to cool and solidify before use.
