This neutralization medium contains 0.7g/L lecithin and requires Tween 80 supplementation (1g per 200ml) to effectively neutralize preservatives during cosmetic product testing. The dual enzymatic digest system (5.0g/L pancreatic + 20.0g/L peptic) ensures optimal recovery of microorganisms from personal care formulations.

Preparation Protocol:

  1. Suspend 37.8g in 1L purified water

  2. Add 1g Tween 80 per 200ml medium

  3. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes
