Lead Acetate Test Base for Bacterial H2S Detection
Specialized Medium for Hydrogen Sulfide Production Testing
This base medium requires addition of lead acetate solution to detect black precipitate formation in bacterial H2S tests. Essential for differentiating Salmonella, Citrobacter, and other sulfide-producing pathogens.
⚠️ Critical Safety Note:
△ Must add sterile 10% lead acetate post-sterilization
△ For trained microbiologists only
Key Features:
Pre-measured sodium thiosulfate (sulfur source)
Optimized agar concentration for clear slant formation
Room temperature stable (3-year shelf life)
Complies with standard H2S test protocols
