Eugon LT 100 Broth Base – Total Bacteria Count in Cosmetics
Our Eugon LT 100 Broth Base (also called Eugon LT100 Broth Base) is a specialized ready-to-prepare culture medium for accurate total bacteria count determination in cosmetics. It supports growth of common cosmetic-related bacteria, making it ideal for cosmetic testing labs, QC facilities, and research institutions. A key step: add 1 vial (1ml) of Tween 80 per 200ml of prepared broth. Each 250g bottle has a 3-year shelf life at room temperature, no refrigeration needed.
Key Features
Cosmetic-Specific: Formulated for cosmetic bacteria count testing, compatible with cosmetic ingredients.
Tween 80 Ready: Works with 1ml Tween 80 per 200ml broth to boost solubility of lipid-based cosmetic components.
Nutrient-Rich: High-purity ingredients support fastidious and non-fastidious bacteria, avoiding false negatives.
Stability Boosters: Contains Egg Lecithin and Octoxynol 9 to neutralize cosmetic antimicrobial agents.
Clumping-Friendly: Slight moisture/clumping from Octoxynol 9 is normal and doesn’t affect performance.
