Cary-Blair Transport Medium – 250g | Pathogen Sample Collection & Preservation
Overview
Cary-Blair Transport Medium is specifically formulated for the collection, transportation, and preservation of pathogenic bacterial specimens. With its alkaline pH (8.4 ± 0.1 at 25 °C) and balanced composition, this medium maintains the viability of microorganisms during transit without encouraging overgrowth. It is widely used in clinical microbiology, public health surveillance, and research laboratories.
