  • Sodium chloride: 5.0 g

  • Sodium hydrogen phosphate: 1.1 g

  • Sodium thioglycollate: 1.5 g

  • Calcium chloride: 0.09 g

  • Agar: 5.0 g

Preparation Instructions

  1. Weigh 12.7 g of the medium powder and add to 1 L of distilled or deionized water.

  2. Heat to boiling until fully dissolved.

  3. Dispense into appropriate containers.

  4. Autoclave at 121 °C for 15 minutes.

  5. Gently mix while cooling to ensure even distribution, then allow to solidify before use.
