  • Formula (per liter): Contains Peptone (10.0g), Beef Extract (5.0g), Dextrose (5.0g), Ferrous Sulfate (0.3g), Disodium Hydrogen Phosphate (4.0g), Ammonium Bismuth Citrate (2.0g), Brilliant Green (0.025g), Sodium Sulfite (6.0g), and Agar (18.0g), with a pH of 7.5±0.2 at 25°C.

  • Storage: Stable at room temperature with a 3-year shelf life, ensuring consistent performance over time.

Preparation Instructions

  1. Measure 5.03g of the medium and dissolve in 100ml of distilled or deionized water.

  2. Stir, boil, and dissolve for 1 minute, then adjust to the final volume.

  3. Cool to 50–55°C before pouring into plates.

  4. For best results, prepare no more than 200ml at a time. Use overnight after preparation and consume within 3 days.
