SCDLP Broth Base (Soya Casein Digest Lecithin Polysorbate Broth Base) is a dehydrated enrichment medium designed for microbial recovery and sample enrichment, particularly in the presence of inhibitory substances.

This medium is commonly used as a base formulation and requires the addition of Polysorbate 80 (Tween 80) prior to sterilization. Its balanced nutrient system supports the growth of a broad range of microorganisms while maintaining stability during routine laboratory workflows.

The powdered format ensures convenient preparation, consistent quality, and long-term storage, making it suitable for microbiology laboratories involved in product testing, environmental monitoring, and routine microbial enrichment.
