YPG Medium is a nutrient-rich medium designed for the cultivation and enrichment of acetic acid bacteria. It provides yeast extract, peptone, and glucose to support robust bacterial growth.

Formula (per liter):

• Yeast Extract – 10.0 g

• Peptone – 10.0 g

• Glucose – 70.0 g

• Final pH: 6.0 ± 0.2 (25℃)

Preparation Instructions:

1. Dissolve 90.0 g of the medium in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water.

2. Warm gently to dissolve completely.

3. Dispense into suitable containers.

4. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

5. Cool to room temperature before use.
