Validated Preparation Protocol:

  1. Dissolve 55.2g in 1L purified water

  2. Boil 1 minute with constant stirring

  3. Cool to 50-55°C (DO NOT AUTOCLAVE)

  4. Pour Plates immediately

  5. Dry: Leave plates uncovered for 20 minutes
