VM Medium
VM Medium is designed for the cultivation of ATCC51563 and ATCC51564 strains. The medium requires supplementation for optimal bacterial growth and must be adjusted to the correct pH before sterilization.

Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve 11.3 g of VM Medium powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water with gentle warming and stirring.
Add 4.5 g of the supplement and dissolve completely.
Adjust pH to approximately 7.1 using dilute HCl; after sterilization, pH will be 6.8 ± 0.2 (25℃).
Dispense into test tubes or Erlenmeyer flasks.
Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
After sterilization, gently shake to mix and cool to room temperature for use.
