Simplified Preparation Protocol:
Dissolve 40.0g powder in 1L distilled/deionized water
Heat & Mix: Boil with stirring until complete dissolution
Sterilize:
121°C for 15 minutes or
115°C for 30 minutes
Critical Step: Swirl gently post-sterilization to prevent agar sedimentation
Pour Plates: Cool to 45-50°C before dispensing
