🧾 Medium Composition (per liter)
Tryptose – 20.0 g
Dextrose – 2.0 g
Disodium Phosphate – 2.5 g
Sodium Chloride – 5.0 g
Final pH: 7.3 ± 0.2 (25 °C)
⚙️ Directions for Use
Suspend 29.5 g of the medium in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water.
If required, add 0.1–0.2% agar to prepare a semi-solid medium.
Heat to boiling with gentle agitation until completely dissolved.
Dispense into suitable containers.
Sterilize by autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes.
Cool and store for use.
