Tryptone Soya Yeast Extract Broth (TSYEB) – Enrichment Medium for Listeria Culture, 250g
Tryptone Soya Yeast Extract Broth (TSYEB) is a nutrient-rich medium widely used for the cultivation of Listeria species in microbiology laboratories. It provides essential nutrients through a balanced composition of tryptone, soya peptone, yeast extract, glucose, and buffering salts.
Composition (per liter):
Tryptone (17.0 g)
Soya peptone (3.0 g)
Yeast Extract (6.0 g)
Glucose (2.5 g)
Sodium chloride (5.0 g)
Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate (2.5 g)
pH 7.3 ± 0.2 (25℃)
Preparation Instructions:
Suspend 36.0 g of TSYEB powder in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water.
Heat and stir until completely dissolved.
Dispense into appropriate containers.
Sterilize at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
Cool to room temperature before use.
Storage: Store at room temperature. Shelf life up to 3 years.
