Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) – General Purpose Medium for Aerobic Culture & Preservative Testing
Pharmaceutical-Grade Tryptic Soy Agar – Gold Standard for Aerobic Culture and Antimicrobial Validation
Ensure reliable microbial recovery with our ready-to-prepare Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) – the essential general-purpose medium for pharmaceutical sterility testing, preservative efficacy studies, environmental monitoring, and quality control. Formulated to USP <61> and EP 2.6.12 standards, this nutrient-rich agar supports robust growth of aerobic microorganisms for accurate antimicrobial validation.
Critical Applications:
✔️ Pharmaceutical Sterility Testing – USP/EP-compliant batch release
✔️ Preservative Efficacy Testing (PET) – Antimicrobial agent validation
✔️ Environmental Monitoring – Air/surface contact plates
✔️ Bioburden Assessment – Raw material and finished product testing
✔️ Clinical Microbiology – Non-fastidious pathogen isolation
