Composition (per liter)

  • Yeast Extract – 5.0g

  • Proteose Peptone – 5.0g

  • Dextrose – 5.0g

  • Dipotassium Phosphate – 4.0g

  • Agar – 20.0g

  • pH: 5.0 ± 0.2 (25℃)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Dissolve 39.0g of Thermoacidurans Agar in 1L of distilled or deionized water.

  2. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved.

  3. Dispense and sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

  4. After sterilization, shake to prevent agar settling at the bottom.

  5. Use aseptically for food sample testing and Bacillus coagulans cultivation.
