Staphylococcus Enrichment Broth Base is a microbiological culture medium formulated for the selective enrichment of coagulase-positive Staphylococcus species prior to further microbiological testing.
The medium contains nutrients and selective components that support the growth of Staphylococcus organisms while improving the recovery of target bacteria during enrichment procedures. When supplemented with potassium tellurite solution, the medium provides selective conditions for Staphylococcus enrichment.

Preparation Instructions
- Suspend 55.0 g of the medium in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water.
- Heat with stirring until the medium is completely dissolved.
- Dispense into suitable containers.
- Sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Under aseptic conditions, add 1 vial of 1% potassium tellurite solution (20 mg) to every 100 ml of medium, mix thoroughly, and use as required.

Store tightly sealed in a cool and dry place at room temperature.
