Animal-Free Select APS LB Broth is a non-animal-derived microbial culture medium tailored for E. coli cultivation in molecular biology workflows. Its formulation ensures reproducible results and compliance with laboratory safety protocols.
Formula (Per Liter):
Soy Hydrolysate: 2.5g
Yeast Extract: 12.5g
Sodium Chloride: 5.0g
pH: 6.7–7.1 (at 25°C)
Usage Instructions
Weigh 20.0g of the powder into 1L of distilled or deionized water.
Heat and stir until fully dissolved.
Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.
Cool and store in a dark, cool place after preparation.
Storage & Shelf Life
Storage: Store unopened bottles at room temperature (15–25°C).
Shelf Life: 3 years from the date of manufacture.
