Salt Czapek Dox Medium | High Salt Medium for Mold Enumeration | Microbiology Culture Media
Salt Czapek Dox Medium is a selective culture medium specifically formulated for the enumeration of molds in microbiological testing. With a high sodium chloride concentration, this medium creates an osmotic pressure environment that supports the growth of fungi while inhibiting the proliferation of unwanted bacteria. It is widely used in food safety, pharmaceutical quality control, and environmental microbiology.
