Preparation Instructions

  1. Suspend the recommended amount of dehydrated SA Agar powder in distilled or deionized water.

  2. Heat to boiling with gentle agitation until completely dissolved.

  3. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.

  4. Cool to 45–50°C, mix well, and pour into sterile Petri dishes.

  5. Store prepared plates under refrigeration until use.
