Formula (per liter):

• Peptone – 10.0 g

• Dextrose – 40.0 g

• Final pH: 5.6 ± 0.2 (at 25°C)

Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve 50.0 g of the powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Dissolve with mild heating, dispense, and sterilize by autoclaving at 115°C for 30 minutes. Cool and medium is ready for use.

Optional: After sterilization and cooling below 50°C, add 10 mg of chloramphenicol per 100 mL under aseptic conditions if needed.
