Formula (per liter):

• Peptone – 5.0 g

• Dextrose – 10.0 g

• Monopotassium Phosphate – 1.0 g

• Magnesium Sulfate – 0.5 g

• Rose Bengal – 0.0133 g

• Agar – 14.0 g

• Final pH: 6.0 ± 0.2 (at 25°C)

Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve 30.5 g of the powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until fully dissolved, dispense, and sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes or at 115°C for 30 minutes. Mix well after sterilization to prevent agar sedimentation. Medium is ready for use.
