Rappaport-Vassiliadis Medium, Semisolid Modification (MSRV Broth Base) – Selective Medium for Salmonella, 250g
Modified Semisolid Rappaport-Vassiliadis Medium (MSRV) is a selective culture medium designed for the isolation and differentiation of Salmonella species. The semisolid formulation allows for enhanced motility testing while selectively inhibiting competing microorganisms through the presence of malachite green and magnesium chloride. This medium is widely used in food microbiology, clinical diagnostics, and public health laboratories.
