Product Overview:
Potato Dextrose Semisolid Agar is a semisolid culture medium formulated for the detection and examination of fungi, including Burkholderia cocovenenans subspecies. Its reduced agar concentration allows improved growth observation in microbiological testing.

Formula (per liter):

• Infusion from Potatoes – 6.0 g

• Dextrose – 20.0 g

• Agar – 5.0 g

• pH 5.6 ± 0.2 (25℃)

Preparation Instructions:

1. Weigh 31.0 g of the medium and suspend in 1 L of distilled or deionized water.

2. Warm gently until completely dissolved.

3. Dispense into suitable containers.

4. Sterilize at 115℃ for 30 minutes.

5. Shake well after sterilization to prevent agar from settling.

6. Cool to about 50℃, allow to solidify, and store for use.
