PALCAM Agar Base 250g – Listeria Selective Culture Medium

PALCAM Agar Base is a selective culture medium designed for the isolation and cultivation of Listeria species. It provides a nutrient-rich formulation combined with selective agents that support reliable recovery of target bacteria in microbiological testing.

This product is supplied in 250g bottles with a 3-year shelf life under standard storage conditions.

Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve 73.9g of medium in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved and dispense into suitable containers. Sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes. Shake gently after sterilization to prevent agar from settling. Cool to 50°C before supplementing with PALCAM additive solutions under aseptic conditions. Mix well, pour into plates, allow to solidify, and store for use.
