Oxacillin Resistance Screening Agar Base
Oxacillin Resistance Screening Agar Base is a microbiological culture medium formulated for the selective screening of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
The medium contains mannitol and selective salts that support the differentiation and screening of resistant strains when supplemented with appropriate antimicrobial agents. After preparation and supplementation, the medium can be poured into agar plates for laboratory testing.
This dehydrated formulation offers consistent composition, convenient storage, and reliable performance for microbiology laboratories conducting MRSA surveillance and microbial analysis.
Key Features
