Preparation Instructions

  1. Suspend 34.6 g of the medium in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water.
  2. Heat to boiling and continue boiling for at least 1 minute until completely dissolved.
  3. Dispense into appropriate containers.
  4. Sterilize at 121°C for 20 minutes.
  5. After sterilization, mix thoroughly to prevent agar from settling and solidifying at the bottom.
  6. Cool to approximately 55°C before use.
