Product Overview:
MacConkey Broth is a selective liquid culture medium formulated for the enrichment of enteric bacteria. The medium contains bile components and lactose, and is suitable for routine microbiological analysis where selective enrichment of intestinal bacteria is required.

Composition (per liter):

• Pancreatic Digest of Gelatin – 20.0 g

• Lactose Monohydrate – 10.0 g

• Dehydrated Ox Bile – 5.0 g

• Bromcresol Purple – 0.01 g

• pH 7.3 ± 0.2 (at 25℃)

Preparation Instructions:

1. Suspend 35.0 g of the medium in 1 L of distilled or deionized water (adjust proportionally if needed).

2. Warm gently with stirring until completely dissolved.

3. Dispense into suitable containers.

4. Sterilize at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

5. Cool and store until use.
