Luria Broth Base Powder for Escherichia coli Culture and Preservation, 250g

Luria Broth Base is a dehydrated culture medium widely used for the cultivation and maintenance of Escherichia coli strains. Depending on the application, 10 ml of 20% glucose solution can be added per liter if required.

Composition (per liter):

• Pancreatic Digest of Casein (Peptone) – 10.0g

• Yeast Extract – 5.0g

• Sodium Chloride – 0.5g

• pH 7.0 ± 0.2 (25℃)

Preparation: Dissolve 15.5g of the medium in 1L of distilled or deionized water. Heat until completely dissolved, dispense as required, and sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes. Optionally, add 10 ml of 20% glucose solution per liter before sterilization.
