Letheen Agar Base for Cosmetic Microbiological Testing

• Beef Extract – 3.0 g

• Pancreatic Digest of Casein – 5.0 g

• Dextrose – 1.0 g

• Lecithin – 1.0 g

• Agar – 15.0 g

⚙️ Directions for Use

1. Suspend 25.0 g of the medium in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water.

2. Add 1 unit of Polysorbate 80 (Tween 80) per liter
   (or 1 unit per 100 mL of medium).

3. Heat to boiling and maintain boiling for at least 1 minute until completely dissolved.

4. Dispense into suitable containers.

5. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes.

6. Pour plates and allow to solidify before use.
