Composition (per liter)

  • Peptone – 10.0g

  • Yeast Extract – 1.0g

  • Lab Lemco – 4.0g

  • Monopotassium Phosphate (KH2PO4) – 2.0g

  • Sodium Acetate Trihydrate – 3.0g

  • Ammonium Citrate – 1.0g

  • Magnesium Sulfate – 0.2g

  • Manganese Sulfate – 0.05g

  • Casamino Acid – 1.0g

  • Tween 80 – 1.0g

  • Agar – 12.0g

  • pH: 6.2 ± 0.2 (25℃)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Dissolve 35.3g of LC Agar in 1L of distilled or deionized water.

  2. Heat and boil until completely dissolved.

  3. Dispense and sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

  4. Shake well after sterilization to prevent agar settling.

  5. Pour into plates and allow to solidify.
