Lactic-Phenol Solution for Fungal Morphology Observation
Lactic-Phenol Solution is a specialized laboratory reagent designed for clear observation of fungal morphology under a microscope. It provides optimal conditions for preserving and visualizing fungal structures, making it an essential tool for microbial laboratory analysis.
Key Specifications:
Packaging: 5ml/vial × 4 vials/box
Storage Condition: Room temperature, protected from light
Shelf Life: 1 year
Intended Use:
Specifically formulated for observing fungal morphology, facilitating detailed examination of fungal hyphae and spores in laboratory settings.
How to Use:
Prepare a smear: Place 1-3 drops of lactic-phenol solution in the center of a slide.
Using a sterile inoculating loop or dissecting needle, take a small amount of mycelium with spores from the edge of a mold colony, place it in the solution, and disperse the mycelium to ensure even distribution.
Cover with a clean coverslip, press gently to make a flattened preparation, taking care to avoid air bubbles.
Let stand for 3-5 minutes, then observe fungal morphology using a light microscope under low, high, or oil immersion magnification.
