L-form Bacteria Enrichment Broth – 250g for L-form Bacteria Cultivation
L-form Bacteria Enrichment Broth is a nutrient-rich medium specifically designed for the enrichment of L-form bacteria in samples. It supports the growth of L-form bacteria by providing essential nutrients such as pancreatic digest of casein, sucrose, yeast extract, and magnesium sulfate. The addition of cholesterol further enhances bacterial growth. This medium is ideal for microbiological studies involving the isolation and cultivation of L-form bacteria, which are often present in diverse environmental samples.
Ingredients Per Liter:
Pancreatic Digest of Casein: 20.0g
Sucrose: 200.0g
Yeast Extract: 10.0g
Magnesium Sulfate (7-hydrate): 25.0g
Cholesterol: 0.04g
pH: 7.5 ± 0.1 (at 25°C)
Instructions for Use:
Dissolve 24.6g of L-form Bacteria Enrichment Broth in 100ml of distilled or deionized water.
Heat the mixture until fully dissolved.
Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
After sterilization, cool the mixture to below 50°C.
Under sterile conditions, add 15ml of inactivated horse serum (inactivated at 56°C for 30 minutes).
Mix thoroughly and use for further cultivation.

Store in a cool, dry place, ensuring that the lid is tightly sealed to avoid contamination.
