ISP Medium 5 (Glycerol Asparagine Agar Base) – Streptomyces Cultivation & Identification Agar
ISP Medium 5 (Glycerol Asparagine Agar Base) is designed for the cultivation and identification of Streptomyces species as part of the International Streptomyces Project (ISP).
This agar base requires the addition of Glycerol (10 g per liter) for complete preparation. It is widely used in microbiological laboratories for taxonomic studies and characterization of actinomycetes.
