Helicobacter pylori Agar Medium Base is a specialized microbiological medium designed for the isolation and cultivation of H. pylori. The medium requires supplementation with H. pylori selective additives and sterile lysed horse blood to support the growth of this fastidious bacterium. It is ideal for clinical microbiology, research laboratories, and studies on gastric pathogens.

Instructions for Use:
Dissolve 4.25g of Helicobacter pylori Agar Medium Base in 93mL of distilled or deionized water. Boil until completely dissolved.
Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.
After sterilization, shake gently and cool to approximately 50°C.
Add 7mL of sterile lysed horse blood and 1 H. pylori selective additive per 93mL of medium. Mix thoroughly.
Pour into petri dishes and allow to solidify. Medium is now ready for inoculation.
Storage: Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Shelf life: 3 years.
