Composition (per liter)

  • Glucose – 20.0g

  • Peptone – 5.0g

  • Yeast Extract – 5.0g

  • Calcium Carbonate (CaCO₃) – 0.1g

  • Agar – 15.0g

  • pH: 6.8 ± 0.2 (25℃)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Dissolve 45.1g of the medium in 1L of distilled or deionized water.

  2. Heat and boil for more than 1 minute to dissolve agar completely.

  3. Mix well and dispense.

  4. Sterilize at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

  5. After sterilization, shake thoroughly to prevent sedimentation of agar.

  6. Medium is ready for Bacillus spore cultivation.
