
Eugon LT 100 Agar Base – Total Bacteria Count in Cosmetics
Our Eugon LT 100 Agar Base (also called Eugon LT100 Agar Base) is a specialized ready-to-prepare culture medium for accurate total bacteria count determination in cosmetics. It’s suitable for cosmetic testing labs, QC facilities, and research institutions. A key step: add 1 vial (1ml) of Tween 80 per 200ml of prepared agar. Each 250g bottle has a 3-year shelf life at room temperature, no refrigeration required.

Key ingredients and proportions (per liter):
Pancreatic Digest of Casein: 15.0g | Papaic Digest of Soybean Meal: 5.0g
L-Cystine: 0.7g | Sodium Chloride: 4.0g | Sodium Sulfite: 0.2g
Glucose: 5.5g | Egg Lecithin: 1.0g | Octoxynol 9: 1.0g
Agar: 15.0g
pH: 7.3±0.2 (25℃)
Usage Instructions
Weigh 47.4g of agar base, dissolve in 1L distilled/deionized water.
Heat to gentle boil, stir until fully dissolved (no undissolved particles).
Dispense into containers; add 1ml Tween 80 per 200ml agar, mix gently.
Autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes to sterilize.
Shake thoroughly after sterilization, then pour into plates and set aside for use.
