Dnase Test Agar with Toluidine Blue Powder 100g

Dnase Test Agar with Toluidine Blue is a dehydrated culture medium used in nuclease testing.
It is supplied as a dry powder in 100g bottles with a shelf life of 3 years at room temperature.

Composition per liter:

• Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA): 2.0 g

• Pancreatic Digest of Casein: 10.0 g

• Papaic Digest of Soybean Meal: 10.0 g

• Sodium Chloride: 5.0 g

• Toluidine Blue: 0.1 g

• Agar: 15.0 g

• Final pH: 7.3 ± 0.2 (at 25°C)

Preparation:
Suspend 42.0 g of the powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until fully dissolved, dispense into containers, and sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Mix well after sterilization to prevent agar sedimentation.
