DNase Test Agar with Methyl Green
DNase Test Agar with Methyl Green is a microbiological culture medium formulated for the detection of DNase enzyme activity produced by microorganisms.
The medium contains deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) combined with methyl green dye, allowing visual detection of DNA hydrolysis. Microorganisms producing DNase degrade DNA, resulting in distinct zones around colonies.
This medium is commonly used in microbial differentiation, laboratory diagnostics, and microbiological research.
The dehydrated powder formulation provides stable storage, convenient preparation, and consistent laboratory performance.
