Intended Use:
Specifically formulated for capsule staining, facilitating the identification and observation of bacterial capsules in laboratory settings.
How to Use:
Smear Preparation: Prepare a smear using conventional methods. Take a sufficient amount of bacterial cells, mix thoroughly with water, and spread the viscous bacterial solution as much as possible, but avoid excessive spreading area.
Drying: Allow the smear to air-dry naturally.
Staining: Stain with Solution A for 5-7 minutes.
Decolorization: Wash off the crystal violet with Solution B; decolorize moderately (rinse twice). Blot dry with absorbent paper, and immediately add 1-2 drops of cedarwood oil to the smear area to prevent the formation of CuSO₄ crystals. Proceed to microscopic examination.
