C.L.E.D Medium (Cystine Lactose Electrolyte Deficient) is a specialized microbiological medium designed for the isolation and cultivation of urinary tract pathogens. It is also suitable for deep culture storage and transport. The medium promotes the growth of a wide range of uropathogens while allowing differentiation based on lactose fermentation and pH indicators.

Instructions for Use:
Dissolve 34.2g of C.L.E.D Medium in 1L of distilled or deionized water. Boil until completely dissolved. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. After sterilization, gently shake to mix and prevent agar from settling. Cool and store until use.
Storage: Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Shelf life: 3 years.
