Bushnell-Haas Agar is a selective medium formulated without cholesterol, mainly used for the cultivation of Nocardia species and for studying the microbial utilization of hydrocarbons. By providing essential inorganic salts and a solid agar base, it supports hydrocarbon degradation assays and environmental microbiology research.

  • Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate – 1.0 g

  • Ferric Chloride – 0.05 g

  • Calcium Chloride·2H₂O – 0.02 g

  • Agar – 15.0 g
