Product Overview:
Buffered Sodium Chloride-Peptone Solution pH 7.0 is a liquid medium used for diluting samples in microbiological testing. It maintains a stable pH of 7.0 and is designed for use in sample preparation and microbial culture, offering ideal conditions for bacterial growth while preventing sample degradation.


Composition (per liter):

  • Peptone – 1.00 g

  • Monopotassium Phosphate – 3.56 g

  • Disodium Hydrogen Phosphate – 5.77 g

  • Sodium Chloride – 4.30 g

  • pH 7.0 ± 0.1 (at 25℃)


Preparation Instructions:

  1. Dissolve 14.63 g of the medium in 1 L of distilled or deionized water.

  2. Stir gently until fully dissolved.

  3. Dispense into appropriate containers.

  4. Sterilize at 121℃ for 15 minutes or 115℃ for 30 minutes.

  5. Allow to cool before use.
