Composition (per liter)

  • Peptone – 10.0g

  • Sodium Chloride – 5.0g

  • Dipotassium Phosphate – 3.5g

  • Monopotassium Phosphate – 1.5g

Preparation Instructions

  1. Dissolve 20.0 g of BPW powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water.

  2. Heat to boiling to ensure complete dissolution.

  3. Dispense into appropriate containers and sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes.

  4. Cool and use under aseptic conditions.
