Brain Heart Infusion Agar (BHIA) 250g – Culture Medium for Fastidious Bacteria
Overview
Brain Heart Infusion Agar (BHIA) is a highly nutritious solid culture medium formulated for the growth of a broad range of microorganisms, especially fastidious bacteria. It combines animal tissue digests with brain and heart infusions to provide essential growth factors, while agar solidifies the medium for plate cultivation. This medium is widely used in clinical, industrial, and research microbiology for isolating and maintaining bacterial cultures.
