BM Liquid Medium

BM Liquid Medium is designed for the enrichment and cultivation of Acetobacterium woodii and related microorganisms. It provides a balanced nutrient and mineral composition suitable for microbial growth in laboratory research.

Formula (per liter):

• Sodium Chloride – 4.1 g

• Disodium Phosphate – 8.6 g

• Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate – 0.9 g

• Magnesium Sulfate – 0.0044 g

• Manganese Sulfate – 0.003 g

• Boric Acid – 0.0034 g

• Ferrous Sulfate – 0.0005 g

• Calcium Chloride – 0.0018 g

pH 7.8–8.2 (at 25℃)

Preparation Instructions:

1. Suspend 13.6 g of powder in 1 L distilled or deionized water.

2. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved.

3. Dispense into appropriate containers.

4. Sterilize by autoclaving at 110℃ for 15 minutes.

5. Cool to room temperature before use.
