BAT Broth – 250g for Bacillus Acidophilus Testing
BAT Broth is a nutrient-rich medium formulated for the cultivation and testing of Bacillus Acidophilus and other spore-forming bacteria. Ideal for microbial testing in various industries, it is designed to support bacterial growth and promote accurate lab analyses. The medium contains essential nutrients like yeast extract, dextrose, and magnesium sulfate, which enable optimal growth conditions for the target organisms.
Ingredients Per Liter:
Yeast Extract: 2.0g
Dextrose: 5.0g
Potassium Hydrogen Phosphate (K2HPO4): 3.0g
Calcium Chloride (CaCl2): 0.25g

Instructions for Use:
Weigh 11.0g of BAT Broth for every 1L of distilled or deionized water.
Heat the solution to a boil, stirring constantly to ensure complete dissolution.
Pour into suitable containers, then autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
Allow the broth to cool to 25℃.
Use sterile 1N sulfuric acid to adjust the pH to 4.0 ± 0.2 at 25℃, then mix well.
The medium is ready for use after pH adjustment.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, in a tightly sealed container to maintain medium integrity.
