Yeast Extract – 7.5 g
Pancreatic Digest of Casein – 12.5 g
Dextrose – 10.0 g
Sodium Chloride – 5.0 g
Sodium Citrate – 5.0 g
Thiamine•HCl – 0.01 g
Dipotassium Hydrogen Phosphate – 5.0 g
Manganese Chloride – 0.14 g
Magnesium Sulfate – 0.8 g
Ferrous Sulfate – 0.06 g (0.02 g + 0.04 g)
Tween 80 – 0.2 g
Agar – 15.0 g
pH: 6.7 ± 0.2 (25℃)
Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve 61.2 g of APT Agar powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water.
Heat and boil until fully dissolved.
Dispense into containers and sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
Cool and gently shake to prevent agar from settling at the bottom.
Ready for the selective cultivation of lactic acid bacteria.
